Our History

Our Beginnings
Stamford Mortgage Company was launched as a single-person office in downtown Stamford in January of 1996. The company's directors had a deep history and extended network in real estate and finance. They believed that the greater Stamford area would be well served by a local mortgage broker dedicated to service.

Since then, our steady growth has been based on two simple premises:

• By delivering a consistently high level of service, our clients will refer us to their friends
• By focusing on our relationships with real estate professionals and attorneys, we will win their confidence, and help them build their business

Our Staff
Stamford Mortgage Company's staff has grown to twelve dedicated mortgage professionals with more than 100 years of combined real estate financing experience. Most of the employees who joined the company in its infancy are still with us, and have been integral to the company's success.

The Future
We have received numerous awards from the country's largest lenders for high-quality loan processing and closing ratios. We have forged relationships with thousands of customers and a wide base of realtors and attorneys from throughout Fairfield County who rely on us to bring each and every loan to a smooth, timely conclusion.

Our foundation is firm, and our outlook is bright.
